The relatively high number of orders is partially the result of generous promotion of £3,500 for the first 1,000 retail customers (plus £3,500 Plug-In Car Grant):

- MG ZS EV Exclusive – from £23,495 (£2,000 more) (€26,230 / $29,200)
- a free home charging point and standard installation
After the first batch of 1,000 cars, ordinary prices will be:
- MG ZS EV Excite – from £24,995 (€27,910 / $31,065)
- MG ZS EV Exclusive – from £26,995 (£2,000 more) (€30,140 / $33,550)
…compared to £27,250 in the case of base Hyundai Kona Electric with a 39 kWh battery.
