Our Planet, a ground-breaking Netflix documentary series that reached 25 million homes around the world within the first month of its launch, beautifully showcased the wonder and variety of life on earth. With an important conservation message at its heart, the film revealed why biodiversity is so important to the health of the planet.

People around the world are lending their support and amplifying the movement to conserve biodiversity. In the sequel to the series – 'Our Planet: Our Business', Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group joins scientists, NGOs and global businesses to represents India, and share the Group's actions and insights to save the planet. The Mahindra Group believes that value addition in the future will depend on the conservation of natural resources through more effective manufacturing processes and the re-use of materials – essentially doing more with less.

Through the natural resource utilization strategy that is governed by the 3Cs – Conservation, Continuous improvement towards rejuvenation, and Comprehensive disclosures. A cohesive framework, well-structured processes, and focused interventions are the foundation of the Mahindra Group’s resource management approach.

Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group, said, "There is a sense of urgency in India, which I think is going to spur action and innovation. It’s about staying alive. I commit it on behalf of my 2,25,000 colleagues that by the year 2040 all Mahindra Group companies will be carbon neutral. I think in the future when we look back there will be two types of companies – companies that got it, and companies that didn’t get it. I know which segment I would like to belong to."
