The DoorDash delivery service has bought another company: Scotty Labs.
Only at the beginning of the month it became known that DoorDash the company Caviar has bought. Furthermore, DoorDash had the startup LVL5 incorporated. The company was bought in April and will be dissolved.
Now the company is also with General Motors company Cruise Automation Cooperates, has been on a shopping spree again, buying up startup Scotty Labs.
Startup Scotty Labs is a networking specialist for autonomous driving. Specifically, one tinkers on remote control options for self-driving cars. Only in March 2018 had collected six million US dollars and they cooperated with the company Voyage, The acquisition terms of DoorDash in relation to Scotty Labs were not disclosed.
Apparently, DoorDash is planning to devote more time to automation, and maybe they want to use supply bots whose Remote control could be taken over by Scotty Labs. Recently, one of the manufacturers of these traveling suitcases, Starship, has one Higher Offensive announced and in 2017 there was a collaboration between Starship and DoorDash.
