VW participates in SeeReal

The Volkswagen Group participates in the AR company SeeReal.

The augmented reality technique will most likely carry its triumphal procession into the car. They use technology to warn about dangers, to project the way onto the street or to entertain the people in the car. Especially in the context of autonomous driving technology holds a lot of potential.

Therefore, Volkswagen has now shopped at the company SeeReal. SeeReal specializes in AR applications, and this knowledge is combined with head-up displays (HuD) to enable 3D rendering. Just recently Continental, Bosch and Jaguar Land Rover their respective ones developments presented.

The company is based in Luxembourg, but also in Dresden, where Volkswagen has a seat. Even before, the two companies have cooperated with each other, so the press release.
