New Delhi: German luxury car manufacturer Audi has launched an initiative for the electric and plug-in hybrid car owners at Munich Airport, dubbed as Charge & Fly.
The campaign will run until the end of the year and interested drivers can recharge their EVs or hybrid cars while they are away.
Also, they can park their vehicles for free, informs the automaker in a release.
Audi claims that trouble-free parking, free charging and convenience of travelling will promote sustainable mobility at Munich Airport.
The Volkswagen owned luxury car company will also use an Audi e-tron shuttle to transfer passengers to their required terminal in the airport from the parking lot. Upon return, the customers can take up the offer of an exclusive test drive of the EV accompanied by an Audi expert.
The Charge & Fly campaign and the e-tron meteorite, designed as a public e-charging station, represent a further building block in the holistic ecosystem that Audi operates at Munich Airport, claims the company.
