The Chinese startup Nio and the autonomy specialist Mobileye cooperate for autonomous driving.
Nio is one of the challengers of Tesla and comes out China, Along with that too Intel belonging companies Mobileye Do you want to address the topic Autonomous driving accept.
The goal is to develop vehicles for the market in China. The cooperation results should also be used for further market offensives. Nio already has two vehicles in China on the market, the SUV Nio ES8 and the SUV ES6.
The system developed by Mobileye for automation Level 4 should be installed in series. The same technology will also be integrated into Mobileye’s commercial robot taxi service and Nio vehicles will be used for this.
The computing power is made possible by the chips of Mobileye, the model EyeQ5. This is used to evaluate the sensor data and to create the HD cards.
