Dutch startup ROCSYS, which is focused on developing automated EV chargers, has completed its seed investment round, led by Estonia-based investing company Superangel as well as Forward.one, a Dutch venture capital fund focused on high-tech hardware. This latest round follows previous funding by Dutch investment fund UNIIQ.
As the auto industry continues to develop self-parking and self-driving technologies, ROCSYS says that the automation of vehicle charging is inevitable. The company’s soft robotics technology is designed to allow operators to completely automate their charging operations safely and cost-effectively.
ROCSYS CEO Crijn Bouman said, “Forward. One is a highly professional VC with a strong hands-on mentality. This exactly matches what the company needs, and we are very happy to work with their fantastic team. With a total of three professional funds backing us in our seed round, we now have a strong basis to launch our innovative EV charging automation solutions in the market.”
