The Italian car market falls 1.4% in February, but rises almost 1% in the two months

Automobile registrations in the Italian market experienced a decline of 1.42% during the month of February, with a volume of 181,734 units, according to data from the National Archive of Vehicles of Italy collected by Europa Press.

The best-selling brand in Italy in February was Fiat, with 32,409 units and a fall of 16.87%, while the second position was for Volkswagen, with 16,178 units, 19.9% ​​more, and the podium was completed by Ford, with 12,841 units, 0.86% less.

Behind were Peugeot, which reached a volume of sales of 11,444 units in February, representing an increase of 12.65%, and Renault, with 9,884 units delivered, with a decrease of 4.6%.

In the first two months of the year, the Italian automotive market experienced a growth of 0.99%, accounting for 359,907 registrations, compared to the 356,384 deliveries registered between January and February 2017.

In this period, the best-selling brands were Fiat, with 66,926 units, 12.4% less; Volkswagen, with 29,606 units, 10.6% more; Ford, with 25,386 units, 0.84% ​​less; Peugeot, with 22,345 units, 13.6% more, and Renault, with 19,404 units, 4.7% less.
