The 115th anniversary of the Automobile Club of Italy in Turin

The Motorists Club pays tribute to motor enthusiasts with free access to the exhibition “The history of the ACI is the history of the car”, scheduled at Mauto from 24 to 26 January.

The Automobile Club of Italy turns 115 and pays homage to the city of Turin, where it was founded in 1905, with a unique opportunity for all motor enthusiasts: free access to the Automobile Museum, from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 January (10:00 – 18:00), to admire the cars featured in the exhibition “The history of the ACI is the history of the car”.

The 12 milestones of Italian motoring evolution in the spotlight are: Fiat mod. 18/24 HP from 1908, Isotta Fraschini mod. 30/40 HP from 1910, Fiat 525 SS from 1931, Alfa Romeo 8C from 1934, Fiat 500 Topolino from 1937, Fiat 8V from 1954, Lancia Aurelia B20 V series from 1956, Maserati 3500 GT Touring Coupé from 1961, Lamborghini Miura from 1971 , Lancia Stratos from 1974, Ferrari F40 from 1990, Ferrari SP Monza from 2018.

The exhibition will be inaugurated on 23 January at 19:00 with a high-profile institutional ceremony, attended by, among others, the ACI president, Angelo Sticchi Damiani, the CONI president, Giovanni Malagò and the Mayor of Turin, Chiara Appendino. During the evening the three queens of the exhibition will be crowned, which have marked the history of the car in a particularly significant way.
