Press Kit Description
Ford is launching a unique new ‘Go Electric’ roadshow to help consumers across Europe make an informed transition to an electrified future. Launching at London’s Marble Arch before rolling out to further European markets, Go Electric features hands-on, engaging activities to de-mystify electrification and inspire confidence in consumers.
Ford customers in Europe will be able to choose from 18 electrified vehicles by the end of 2021. The all-electric Mustang Mach-E spearheads Ford’s rapidly expanding electrified vehicle range. The company is promising to deliver electrified options on all future passenger vehicles. Ford announced plans to introduce 1,000 charging stations at Ford facilities across Europe. The company is founder member and shareholder in the IONITY fast-charger consortium and will give customers access to the largest network of public charging stations in Europe.
At the inaugural Go Electric event, Stuart Rowley, president, Ford of Europe, called on governments, industries and institutions to support the push for electrification with faster expansion of public charging infrastructures.
