DSP Concepts, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based voice recognition company, has raised $14.5m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Taiwania Capital, with participation from BMW i Ventures, Sony Innovation Fund by IGV, MediaTek Ventures, Porsche Ventures and the ARM IoT Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Chin Beckmann, Co-founder / CEO, and Paul Beckmann, PhD, Founder / CTO, DSP Concepts is a provider of tools and IP for developers to create audio enabled products by leveraging audio weaver technology, which is used by major automotive OEMs and consumer brands in millions of products.
