Jörg Hofmann: “The corona pandemic must not lead to social upheaval, we have to face it in a socially responsible manner. IG Metall therefore expects that parents who are unable to work due to the closure of nationwide daycare centers and schools will keep their jobs and that their income will be fully secured. We want to create clarity and reliability on Wednesday with the responsible ministries and our social partner. Until then, pragmatic and socially acceptable solutions are required. “
