ProtoPie, a Seoul, South Korea-based provider of prototyping software platform, raised $6.3m in Series A funding.
Backers in the round, which brought total venture capital funding to date to $9.9M, included Vela Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to grow ProtoPie in North America.
Led by Tony Kim, Co-founder & CEO, ProtoPie provides a collaborative software platform used by firms including Google, Microsoft, HBO, BMW, Samsung, GoPro, as well as Verizon, Nintendo, ASOS and other companies worldwide to explore new ideas and realize new design innovations in consumer tech, IoT experiences and manufacturing processes.
