2020 April 07, Hong Kong. Geely Automobile Holding Limited (Group) announced that the the total sales volume of the Group (including the sales volume of LYNK & CO-branded vehicles sold by the Group’s 50%-owned joint venture) for the month of March 2020 was 73,021 units, a decrease of approximately 41% from the same period last year, but up approximately 245% from February 2020. Of the total sales volume in March 2020, 2,503 units were new energy and electrified vehicles (NEVs). The Group’s exports volume was down around 60% year-on-year to 3,152 units in the month of March 2020. During the month of March 2020, the Group’s total sales volume in the China market was 69,869 units, a decrease of around 40% from the same period last year. The total sales volume in the first quarter of 2020 was 206,027 units, a decrease of approximately 44% from the same period last year, and achieving 15% of the Group’s full year sales volume target of 1,410,000 units in 2020.
During the month of March 2020, the total sales volumes of sedans, sport utility vehicles (SUVs) and multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs) were 23,593 units, 48,414 units and 1,014 units, respectively.
During the same period, the total sales volume of LYNK & CO-branded vehicles was 7,369 units.
