The PSA Group has appointed Matthias Hossann new Design Director of the Peugeot brand, so he will take office from this Tuesday, July 28, succeeding Gilles Vidal, as reported by the company in a statement.
Coming from the talent pool of the PSA Group’s style department, Hossann, 40, joined the French consortium in 2002, holding various management positions in the group’s different brands.
Since 2013, he has been responsible for Prospective Design of the Peugeot brand, with the development of the different prototypes of the firm, and has tested the preliminary design of the brand’s vehicles, including the most recent 208 and 2008.
“I am delighted to entrust this mission to one of the most talented designers of his generation, who has enlightened the future of the Peugeot brand and who will henceforth be able to put his talent to the service of the brand’s customers,” stressed the PSA Group Style Director, Jean Pierre PlouĂ©.
