This weekend six people have lost their lives on the Spanish interurban roads, as reported by the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) in its Accident Report.
Specifically, Traffic has recorded three deaths in three accidents this Saturday and another three deaths in another three accidents this Sunday. No deceased was registered on Friday.
Of the six deceased, two have been vulnerable users, one of them a motorist and the other a pedestrian. In addition, between the accidents there are two exits from the road, two collisions and one hit by a pedestrian.
In July, 101 people lost their lives on Spanish interurban roads, 16 fewer than the same month last year. In total, 442 people have died on Spanish roads so far this year, compared to 599 a year ago, that is, 26 percent less.
