Autonomous driving could do that Accident figures and reduce exhaust emissions. For this, the technology must also be accepted. The aim of the study was to determine the mobility behavior, the perception of the application, the challenges of integration and the subjective security of Level 3 vehicles to find out in mixed traffic.

The survey was launched two years ago Carinthia carried out in Austria. The 19 people interviewed were of mobile age and were selected at random. The result showed that mobility plays an important role in social life.

in the rural area it is suitable the number of Private car to reduce. However, autonomous driving is seen as an alternative rather than a replacement. Nevertheless, integration into existing systems would be an improvement. Overall, the researchers note a positive attitude towards technology. Men and people living in cities in particular are more open to technology.
