The 100,000th ZOE produced at the Renault Flins factory

The only Renault industrial site in the world to manufacture Renault’s electric ZOE, the Renault Flins factory in Aubergenville (Yvelines) produced, on Thursday, March 15, the 100,000th copy of this leading model of the electric vehicle segment in Europe since 2015.

It was 3:20 pm, when the ZOE numbered 100,000 came out of Renault Flins’ production lines. This is a Star Wars version, in its new livery “Violet Blueberry”, equipped with the new electric motor R110, developing a power of 80 kW, indicates a press release from the factory. This 100,000th ZOE is destined for the Colombian market.

Continuous growth of volumes

Since the ZOE production was launched in 2012, the pace of manufacture of the small urban electric car has been steadily increasing. 29,671 ZOE were produced in 2017 compared to 443 in 2012, 12,718 in 2014 or 19,115 in 2015. “Today, one in four vehicles produced at the Flins plant is an ZOE,” says the factory.
