Ford India has launched the Endeavour Sport at Rs 35.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new variant – which is based on the Titanium+ 4×4 trim – adds blacked-out cosmetic elements to the Endeavour’s exterior in a bid to give the SUV a sportier look.
Compared to the standard Endeavour, the Endeavour Sport gets a raft of cosmetic changes to the exterior. Starting from up front, the headlamps now get a smoked finish, the three-slat chrome grille has been replaced by a new gloss black grille with a honeycomb pattern, the skid plate too is now finished in black and all of the chrome detailing too has been darkened.
The blacked-out theme carries on to the sides as well, with the alloy wheels, roof rails, fender vents and wing mirrors also finished in black. Around the back, too, the silver and chrome trim has been blacked out, and the tailgate now features a new Sport badge. The Endeavour Sport is available in a choice of three colours – Absolute Black, Diffused Silver and Diamond White
Moving to the cabin, there is no notable change here, and the dual-tone, beige-and-grey interiors continue as before.
What equipment is on offer?
The Endeavour Sport packs in kit such as LED headlamps, powered front seats, an 8.0-inch touchscreen, dual-zone climate control, hands free tailgate opening, cruise control, panoramic sunroof, hands free parking, Ford’s Terrain Management system and more.
On the safety front, the Sport comes equipped with 7 airbags, ESC, traction control, tyre pressure monitor, hill descent control and more.
What’s under the hood?
Here too, there is no change, with the standard Endeavour’s 170hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine doing duty in the Endeavour Sport. The engine is paired to a 10-speed automatic gearbox as standard; there is no manual option. All-wheel drive is standard.

Coming to the seven-seat SUV segment, it is expected to grow with the upcoming launch of the new MG Gloster which is expected to be a more premium alternative to the above SUVs. Also expected to arrive is the BS VI compliant iteration of the Isuzu MU-X SUV.
