Cadillac Launches 2021 XT4 with Upgraded Features

SHANGHAI – Cadillac today launched the model year 2021 XT4 with a suite of upgrades, including the available Face ID keyless feature. With a price ranging from RMB 259,700 to RMB 391,700, the popular mid-small luxury SUV will continue to meet the high standards of local customers.
Cadillac has begun shipping the 2021 XT4 to dealers across the country.

The Ultimate Keyless Experience
The 2021 XT4 has added the intuitive Face ID unlocking and starting feature, which allows the user to enjoy the ultimate keyless experience. When the user approaches the vehicle, the high-definition touchscreen on the B-pillar is activated automatically through their mobile phone’s Bluetooth recognition wake-up function. With a dual-infrared camera, infrared imaging technology and an adaptive flashing light, the system can carry out all-weather face recognition day and night, indoor and outdoor, and even in some extreme weather, for a seamless entry experience.
The system also incorporates other security options such as fingerprint and password unlock, which can be combined according to the user’s preferences. After entering the vehicle, the user can start the vehicle without a key. In addition, the system’s multi-account management function supports one administrator and seven ordinary users, making vehicle sharing more convenient.
The Face ID system is available at all Cadillac dealers for an additional RMB 10,000 and is covered by the 2021 XT4’s three-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty.
Intuitive In-vehicle Experience
The 2021 XT4 takes the seamless and intuitive interaction of the user, the vehicle and the cloud to a new level. It integrates the all-new Cadillac User Experience (CUE), which supports wireless Apple CarPlay, the industry-leading Baidu intelligent voice command system, Baidu Maps and many other advanced features.
Users can activate the Baidu intelligent voice command system through the voice button on the multi-function steering wheel. Leveraging offline recognition and intelligent voice algorithm optimization, the system can recognize up to 214 categories of human-computer interaction commands in more than 60 types of common scenarios. The system is also capable of voice interruption, offline commands, active greeting and multi-round interaction, providing a game-changing smooth human-machine interaction experience that is comparable to natural dialogue.
With the system, users can enjoy various functions such as navigation, temperature adjustment, and weather and flight inquiries, as well as listen to music, news and audiobooks by voice command. This elevates every journey to a smart and fun experience.
Distinct Exterior Color
Developed by one of GM’s youngest groups of designers, the XT4 has been popular among the younger generation of customers since its reveal in 2018 due in part to its dual-trim strategy and sportiness. The 2021 XT4 is available in the shimmering new Cherry Bomb exterior color with an exclusive blend of glistening crystal paint that provides greater shine, depth and color saturation. It will make the Cadillac XT4 even more recognizable on the road.
