The California Public Utilities Commission has fined Uber $59 million for failing to provide the commission with information related to sexual assault and harassment claims, Reuters reports.

Last year, a judge ordered Uber to answer questions about a safety report it released. The report included information on assaults that occured on its platform from 2017 to 2019. However, Uber maintains that releasing the requeted information would violate victims’ privacy.

While the CPUC says the information can be anonymous, Uber could lose its license if the company fails to pay the fine within 30 days.
