BayWa AG’s service station business unit is cooperating with Hubject GmbH and expanding the points of acceptance for the BayWa fuel card in the area of e-mobility. Through the cooperation, BayWa AG becomes one of the largest emobility service providers in Hubject’s “intercharge network”. The company networks over 300 companies and more than 61,000 charging points worldwide. In Germany alone, around 5,000 charging points are accessible via intercharge.
The BayWa fuel card will be accepted at charging stations in the intercharge network from the beginning of 2018. In the long term, BayWa also plans to set up its own fast-charging stations at selected BayWa locations. Currently, BayWa AG has around 100 automatic filling stations and 100,000 active fuel cards in use.
