The automotive sector is ready to move towards the long-awaited digitization that the client claims. An example of this is the commitment to the sale of used vehicles online. At a time when new online platforms in this segment are constantly emerging, a new actor has appeared to be taken into account by dealers. Through a statement, Driverama, the new used vehicle platform that promises “borderless” sales throughout Europe, has been presented.

The new Aures Holdings company will be launched in Germany during the month of August. It has already invested 75 million euros in its development. It is foreseen to make another disbursement of 100 million euros during the next year; and up to 400 million euros for the next four years.

Driverama will strive to become the ‘world’s largest pan-European used car retailer online by 2025’. Stanislav Galik, Co-Executive Director of Driverama explains that this project is “the culmination of millions of euros of investment, innovation, testing … To offer a truly perfect solution in customer experience”.

Driverama will initially launch in Germany with more than 5,000 fully inspected vehicles. In addition, it will have the support of 45 physical points of sale of Aures. “Unlike other new players, the Driverama team already has experience selling used vehicles and has the physical infrastructure to offer a winning omnichannel proposal.”

The strength of Aures Holdings

Aures Holdings currently manages different points of sale for used vehicles in the Czech Republic. It is there that most of its business activities are also located. In addition, it has branches in Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. They offer their customers up to 15,000 used cars through various sales channels.

It is expected that independent platforms for used vehicles will continue to appear online for the next three to four years. All will use advanced customer service practices and will have fluid business experiences, with powerful software and great technological capabilities.
