Kyte, an on-demand car rental service, started operating in Seattle earlier this month, according to a report by Geek Wire. Seattle is Kyte’s eighth operating city.

San Francisco-based Kyte is now available in Seattle and the Ballard, Fremont, Capitol Hill, Madison Park, and Columbia City neighborhoods, says the report.

Vehicles can be rented through the service’s app or website and delivered directly to drivers. Customers pay a daily rate and a $19 fee for delivery and return of the vehicle. Vehicles can be rented by the day, week, or month, according to the report.

Founded in 2019 by Francesco Wiedemann, Kyte also operates in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.
