On August 27, the Governor of the Samara Region Dmitry Azarov handed over the keys of the LADA Niva Legend and LADA Largus medical vehicles to employees of the district medical institutions. 43 LADA cars will strengthen the regional medical fleet as part of the implementation of the Regional program to modernize the primary health care.Special modifications of cars are equipped with medical equipment, the design provides for a place for a lying patient, a special color scheme is applied to the body. Various models of the Niva and Largus families are in high demand in the system of the state and corporate procurement.In 2021, it is planned to purchase 111 units of new vehicles. 35 cars are already working on the line, and it is planned to deliver another 33 new emergency vehicles by the end the year. They will be used to deliver patients to medical organizations, medical workers to the place of residence of patients, as well as to transport biological materials for research, deliver medicines to residents of remote area.
