Ashok Leyland inaugurates oxygen generator plants in Hosur

Ashok Leyland, one of India’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers has set up 2 Oxygen Generator Plants at government Hospital, Hosur, which were inaugurated by Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Subramaniam in the presence of Dr. A Chellakumar, MP, Krishnagiri; R Gandhi, Minister for Handlooms and Textiles; Y Prakash, MLA Hosur and Balachander NV, chief sustainability officer and president – Communications, CSR & Corporate Affairs, Ashok Leyland.

The oxygen generator plants have a combined capacity to generate 500 litres per minute and have a storage capacity of 4,000-litres with a bottling facility. The facility was set up at a cost of Rs 1.18 crore, with the aim to ensure immediate access of oxygen supply to Hospitals and Public Health Centres in and around Hosur.
