MUNICH, Sept 6 (Reuters) – Daimler said on Monday that its supply chain was relatively stable, barring issues with deliveries of semiconductor chips that have disrupted production at a number of carmakers.
“We don’t see too much instability,” Joerg Burzer, head of supply chain at Daimler’s carmaking unit Mercedes-Benz, said at the IAA Mobility trade fair in Munich.
“Except for Malaysia and the chip shortage we have a pretty stable supply chain situation,” added Burzer. (Reporting by Victoria Waldersee, writing by Douglas Busvine)
