Citroën assaulting emerging countries with a tailor-made range

Will Citroën do better in India and Brazil than Renault and Ford? While the French rival is enjoying relative success in these emerging markets and the American manufacturer abandons them, the herringbone brand presents a new model designed specifically to meet this huge and complex demand.

This model will be called “new C3” but will not be the twin of the car of the same name currently sold in Europe, specifies Vincent Cobée , the general manager of the French brand. “At Citroën, a compact B-segment vehicle is called C3. This does not mean that it is the same car everywhere. The platform, in particular, will not be the same.
