Porsche invests in the ‘startup’ Anagogo, specialized in the development of artificial intelligence

The manufacturer of premium vehicles Porsche has acquired a minority stake in the Israeli startup Anagog, specializing in the development of artificial intelligence in the field of mobility and with about 30 employees, the company said in a statement.

As Porsche explains, the software patented by Anagog allows “to better understand and anticipate the behavior of the client in certain situations”. In this way, it can be used, for example, to offer smart parking options.

“We are delighted that our participation in Anagog allows us to further expand our skills and opportunities for artificial intelligence in the mobility sector,” said Porsche Digital CEO Thilo Koslowski.

Anagog technology is currently used in more than 100 different applications around the world. The data analysis is carried out directly on the mobile device and, therefore, does not require the transfer of user data to the cloud or external servers.

In this way, as Porsche explains, “this ensures that users retain full control over their data while benefiting from contextual services.”
