Bangalore-based full-stack mobility start-up Automovill has launched its operations in Pune with 20 car repair workshops partners and has established 3 company-owned Hubs in the first phase of expansion in the city.
The start-up was founded in 2016 in Guwahati by Mridu Mahendra Das and Chinmay Baruah and recently joined by Ramana Sambu as co-founder and CBO. It has been incubated by Maruti Suzuki and IIM Bangalore. The start-up says its tech-enabled 360-degree approach enables impeccable customer experience by bringing trust, transparency, and convenience. It claims to have handled over 100,000 cars for both retail customers and B2B clients.
The company says the new launch is in line with its West India Expansion strategy. With this Automovill now has expanded its retail presence in over 16 cities – Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida, Ghaziabad, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Patna, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Chennai, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune and Calcutta.
The start-up claims it has witnessed 250% rise in demand post pandemic that has motivated it to roll out its expansion plan for the ongoing financial year. It aims at widening its footprint in West India and East India. The plans are to open operations in 5 more cities within this fiscal year itself.
It says it has efficiently delivered the car repair services in Pune for the last 6 months during the pilot with B2B clients, additionally with the rising queries from end consumers it also launched B2C operations.
Automovill says it has strategically set up its Hubs in Pimpri, KadNagar and Saudagar of Pune city, in addition to 20 partnered workshops to cater the larger audience. The three hubs have a total capacity to serve over 200 cars per day.

At present, the brand is doing 3,000 orders per month, and anticipates to clock a figure of 150,000 orders by the end of the current fiscal year.
