One camera of the company Camero Israel said to be able to see through walls from a distance of approximately 100 meters. The possible uses are manifold. Of course, the technology makes it possible to identify traffic hazards behind walls, but it can also be understood as a massive invasion of privacy.
The head of the company says that you can see whether there are people in the house or the room. It can account for the number and the movements. In this way, it is also interesting for security forces to find out whether a house has to be searched. The camera allows views through concrete walls and can even determine the position of people in the room.
