After two years undermined by the Covid pandemic and shortages of semiconductors, professionals were convinced that the French automotive market would rebound in 2022. The catastrophic first quarter figures make this scenario increasingly hypothetical.
According to statistics published this Friday by the Automotive Platform (PFA), new car registrations fell by 19.53% in March compared to the same period of 2021. This drop is in addition to those recorded in January (-18 .6%) and in February (-13%).
