Record results, and a remuneration that is no less. As Stellantis, the automaker resulting from the merger between PSA and Fiat Chrysler in early 2021, holds its annual shareholders meeting this Wednesday, the emoluments received by CEO Carlos Tavares do not go unnoticed.
According to documents published by the group in its annual report, the total remuneration of the Portuguese boss amounted last year to 19,153,507 euros (compared to 7.6 million at PSA in 2019). In this sum, the fixed salary reaches two million euros. It increased by 17.6% compared to the fixed rate reached by Carlos Tavares in 2020 as general manager of PSA, specifies to “Echos” a spokesperson for Stellantis, “but for a group whose turnover has increased by 145%, and the number of employees by 170%”.
