The British start-up Oxbotica is cooperating with the electric car manufacturer NEVS.
Autonomous e-driving is clearly the future and so it is not surprising that the British start-up Oxbotica is looking for an e-car manufacturer as a cooperation partner. Oxbotica is a spinoff from Oxford University in the UK and has been working on the development of autonomous driving for years.
Also NEVS is not a blank slate in the industry and already had a number of partners, such as AutoX. The focus of the cooperation with Oxbotica is also the shuttle “Sango”, which stands for a sustainable and automated form of transport.
They want to go into production as early as next year. Several projects are to follow from 2024 and it should be on the market from 2025. The electrically powered vehicles are intended to reduce urban traffic and exhaust fumes and increase parking space. Because the shuttle is to be introduced as an alternative to the private car.
