Lancia will return to the French market from 2024

Carlos Tavares had promised it at the beginning of 2021, during the merger between PSA and Fiat Chrysler: each of the 14 brands in the portfolio of the new group “will have a chance”. Despite the production crisis that is shaking the sector, the boss of Stellantis kept its word, to the delight of Lancia, which presented this Friday to the press the outline of its plan to regain a foothold in Europe.

Despite its prestigious past (it was born in 1906) and many aficionados, the Italian brand has greatly declined : it now only sells one model (the Ypsilon, made in Poland), in one country, Italy.
