Cruise’s robotic taxis in San Francisco suddenly gathered on a street and stopped.
It’s a bit reminiscent of the horror classic Rhea M, but it started with a forewarning. In April, a police officer in San Francisco wanted a robotic taxi from Cruise check. At first it stopped, but when the officer approached it continued to drive.
Now there was another incident: About five or more cars of the robot taxi service from cruise automation, with General Motors working together have strangely gathered on a street and stopped there. The vehicles, which are only allowed to offer their service at night, blocked the road with it.
According to the company, this was due to an error. The blockade is said to have lasted a few hours. Some vehicles could be extracted by remote control, others had to be driven away by company employees.
