Three shoe models each for women and men – all limited to 55 pieces
Affalterbach. To mark the 55th anniversary of Mercedes-AMG, the Italian shoe and leather manufacturer Santoni is unveiling a highly exclusive Capsule Collection. Boot, sneaker and raceboxer for women and men are produced in a limited edition of just 55 pieces each. All models bear the “55 years” logo to mark the 55th anniversary of Mercedes-AMG. The colour scheme in the AMG colours –black, grey, white and red – as well as the prominently placed AMG logo establish further close links to the performance and sports car brand of Mercedes-Benz Group AG.
The “Santoni for AMG”-Collection combines the Performance Luxury world of Mercedes-AMG with the craftsmanship and design expertise of Santoni. “Mercedes-AMG and Santoni have enjoyed a close partnership for many years, which began with FIA-approved racing shoes and stylish casual shoes. The exclusive shoe collection for our 55th anniversary combines the highest level of sporty design with stylish and handcrafted manufacturing quality. It is a perfect match for this special occasion,” says Philipp Schiemer, CEO of Mercedes-AMG GmbH.
One of the outstanding items in the exclusive “55 years” edition for men and women is the unisex model “Raceboxer” with high upper and lacing, which combines elements of sports shoes for boxers and racers, and is available in two colour variations. “The Raceboxer is the reinterpretation of the very first ‘Santoni for AMG’ model we developed in 2007. We designed this racing shoe exclusively for the 55th anniversary of Mercedes‑AMG. It interprets lifestyle and luxury in a very sporty and expressive way, but at the same time it is approved and certified by the FIA for professional racing use,” says Giuseppe Santoni, Chief Executive Officer of the luxury manufacturer from Le Marche.

A lace-up sneaker in three colour versions and ankle-high boots also pay homage to the long-standing partnership between Mercedes-AMG and Santoni and to the 55th anniversary of AMG.
