India’s home-grown private equity player Multiples Asset Management (Multiples PE), founded by Renuka Ramnath, is in advanced talks to invest in traditional, family-owned shoe-manufacturing company Asian Footwear as the latter looks to expand its business across the country.
According to multiple sources privy to the development, the investment amount could be about $30-40 million.
