- After the successful premiere in 2021, the format makes its second outing in 2022
- The Mercedes-Benz Museum plays host for a colourful cultural programme from the region
- Variety of programmes with concerts, poetry slam and stand-up comedy
In summer 2022, the Mercedes-Benz Museum will once again become the stage for a colourful and diverse cultural programme: the second edition of “Urban Culture at the Mercedes-Benz Museum” continues the successful model developed in 2021. As part of this, the Museum is providing the open-air stage as a unique summer location for cultural events from Stuttgart and the region. This year, the Urban Culture event will be hosted from 13 July to 14 August 2022.
“We are excited to continue the story of ‘Urban Culture’ after the successful premiere season in 2021. The programme is extremely diverse – there is stand-up comedy and theatre as well as live concerts across all music genres,” says Bettina Haussmann, the director of the Mercedes-Benz Museum. “As a venue, the open-air stage with space for up to 1,100 guests is ideal for showcasing urban culture. Our partners appreciate the stage infrastructure we provide them with and our audiences appreciate the unique atmosphere of the amphitheatre. When the setting sun is reflected in the museum façade on balmy summer evenings to the music of your favourite band, these are unforgettable experiences.”
