Less than two months after pulling out of several markets, Pakistan’s last-mile delivery startup Airlift told its employees on Tuesday it is shutting down permanently.
The announcement did not come as a surprise to employees as Airlift had paused all deliveries across Pakistan during Eid, which typically sees a surge in demand for delivery services. In addition, the company had been emptying warehouses and moving inventory in the run-up to the announcement.
