Global private equity (PE) giant CVC Capital Partners has bought a minority stake in Indonesian cheese company PT Mulia Boga Raya Tbk for 306.13 billion rupiah ($20.41 million). The transaction was routed through CVC’s investment vehicle, Pelican Company Limited.
According to a filing with the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX), the PE firm purchased 271.87 million shares, or an 18.13% stake, in Mulia Boga Raya at 1.126 rupiah each on July 8, 2022.
