Stuttgart/Tokyo: “Kangei Marco Polo HORIZON” – At the Japan Camping Car Show 2018 the compact recreational vehicle from Mercedes-Benz Vans celebrated its premiere as a right-hand-drive variant. As of now, the Marco Polo HORIZON is available to customers in the land of smiles. In the second quarter of 2018, Great Britain will follow as the second right-hand-drive market.
“We want to make our compact travel vans and recreational vehicles available to even more customers – that's why we're now launching the Marco Polo HORIZON in a right-hand-drive variant”, says Klaus Maier, Head of Marketing and Sales Mercedes-Benz Vans. “The first market is Japan, one of the world's key right-hand-drive markets”, continues Klaus Maier.
With the launch of the Marco Polo HORIZON as a right-hand-drive variant in Japan and Great Britain, Mercedes-Benz Vans is continuing to press ahead with its “Mercedes-Benz Vans goes global” growth strategy in the camper van market in 2018.
About the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo HORIZON:
The Marco Polo HORIZON is based on the Mercedes-Benz V-Class. The multiple seating configurations of the Marco Polo HORIZON for up to seven passengers are an expression of its maximum versatility. It also offers five sleeping berths thanks to a reclining triple bench in the rear and a roof bed for two people. Two drawers underneath the reclining bench provide extra stowage space. The Marco Polo HORIZON can be stylishly individualised with an array of high-quality materials.
