Most people know Elon Musk as boss and major shareholder of Tesla. The electric car manufacturer has made the 51-year-old the richest entrepreneur in the world. He recently used his wealth to expand his political power: his company SpaceX supplies satellites, which now play an important role for the US armed forces and are essential for communication within the Ukrainian armed forces in the war against Russia.
After buying Twitter, he rules over what is probably the most influential communication platform of our time. At the same time, Musk increasingly sympathizes with conspiracy theories and autocratic regimes, and rigorously removes critical spirits from his environment.
In an interview with editor-in-chief Sven Clausen, manager-magazin tech reporter Jonas Rest explains why this can pose a threat to the global community, what drives Elon Musk and who could stop him.
In the podcast “Das Thema” the editor-in-chief of manager magazin provides information about the internal research status on a relevant current and at the same time promising topic of the economy every week. You can watch the podcast via manager magazin as well as on Spotify
