The aeronautic inspiration is even more apparent in the cockpit. You’re greeted with a flat aluminum tooled dash and chromed bezel circular gauges that look like they’d feel just as at home in the sky as they do on the ground. The gauges are also backlit in a lovely shade of green and surrounded by rows of toggle switches that mimic an airplane’s instrument panel.
The current steering wheel didn’t come from the factory, but the four-spoke propeller wheel was acquired from Spyker specialist Jasper den Dopper and looks right at home. Finally, to finish things off, you have the exceptional open shift gate and billet machined pedals that both have exposed linkages.
The car then comes with side-window reinforcement bars, a Spyker branded oil cap, the original steering wheel, and four dashboard vents that lead to the air conditioning system that was recently overhauled to the tune of $2,000.
An exceptional vehicle, and hopefully, it finds a good home that’d rather drive it than store it away.
