December 22 – Tottenham Hotspur has agreed a multi-year deal sponsorship with INEOS Grenadier who will become the club’s its Official 4×4 Vehicle Partner.
The INEOS Grenadier is the brainchild of INEOS chairman Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who saw a gap in the market for a British-made stripped back, utilitarian, 4×4 engineered for modern day compliance and reliability.
INEOS Grenadier debuted its sponsorship as the Presenting Partner of Spurs’ exhibition match against OGC Nice at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last night.
INEOS Grenadier’s marketing package will include digital and social content and matchday activations, including the Grenadier logo visible on dugout seat headrests.
Todd Kline, chief commercial officer, Tottenham Hotspur, said: “Our partnership with INEOS Grenadier represents the coming together of an innovative British brand with an iconic London Football Club – both of whom are committed to pushing boundaries.”
Spurs have partnered with INEOS before. In December 2020 INEOS Hygienics became the Club’s Official Hand Sanitiser Supplier at the height of the COVID pandemic.
No value was given for the INEOS Grenadier sponsorship.
INEOS Automotive Chief Executive Officer, Lynn Calder, said: “The INEOS-wide ethos of employing grit and determination has helped us overcome many challenges as we brought the Grenadier to market, values that reflect the motto and mindset of this great football club.”
