Greenhous expands business with bodybuilder acquisition

Vauxhall, Nissan and VW van dealer group Greenhous Group continues to build up its commercial vehicle arm with the acquisition of commercial vehicle bodybuilder, Bulkrite.

Greenhous, rated 13 in the Motor Trader Top 200 Dealer Groups with annual turnover of £1.24bn, is one of the UK’s largest DAF dealer groups.

The move will bolster Greenhous Group’s presence in the commercial vehicle market, and further enhance the company’s position as a major supplier to the transportation industry.

The acquisition represents a diversification and expansion of the Greenhous Group, which currently has 22 DAF locations throughout the UK.

Greenhous Group truck division managing director, Kevin Swinnerton, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Bulkrite to the Greenhous Group family.

“Thanks to Andrew and Melanie Davies, their son Robert, and their team, Bulkrite has a fantastic reputation for designing and building high-quality commercial vehicle bodies and we are delighted to add the talent and expertise of Bulkrite into the group.”

Swinnerton concluded, “This a really exciting addition to the Greenhous portfolio. The acquisition will enable us to expand our product offer and have greater control of our supply chain when it comes to offering our customers bodied DAF vehicles – all part of our continued commitment to providing the very highest levels of product and service to our customers.”
