Cazoo sells 36-acre Cold Meece site to Greenhous

Cazoo has sold a 36-acre site in Cold Meece to Greenhous Group for an undisclosed sum.

It is the latest in a number of acquisitions which has seen Greenhous Group grow its UK footprint to over 200 acres following similar acquisitions in Upper Heyford and Livingston in the last 12-months alone.

Greenhous had previously sold the PDI and refurbishment facility at Cold Meece as part of the Smart Fleet Solutions sale to Cazoo in 2021. Cazoo will remain as the primary tenant on a multi-year lease back arrangement.

Ashley Passant, managing director Greenhous Group Car & Van Operations, said: “We are delighted to re-acquire the Cold Meece site, the site will make a fantastic addition to our ever-expanding property portfolio. Cold Meece will continue to be utilised by Cazoo for the foreseeable future.”

With a history spanning over a century, Greenhous Group supply more than 70,000 vehicles per year across the passenger vehicle, light commercial and large commercial vehicle sectors.
