For president Luigi Zironi, mayor of Maranello: “With this second edition of the Italian Motor Week, after the successful debut in 2023, the Motor Cities open up again to tourists and visitors to show them, in an even more evocative guise , its Made in Italy motoring heritage. In the eight days covered by the event, the territories belonging to the Association will be the exceptional showcases for our ‘jewels’, enhanced by dozens of themed events that will increasingly focus on the emotional involvement of enthusiasts. And thanks to the collaboration of our partners and many local entities, many of these initiatives will be able to combine the passion for motors with the discovery of other territorial characteristics, making a contribution to the cities both in terms of related activities and image”.
“The rich calendar of events of Italian Motor Week24 enhances the excellence, skills and most famous brands of our nation’s automotive and motorcycle sector – recalls the Minister of Tourism, Daniela Santanché – for example the Vespa, a true Italian icon in the world, celebrated with the Vespa World Days, an event of international importance in the week dedicated to the ‘Made in Italy’ of motors, thanks to the participation of eight thousand Vespas and ten thousand visitors from all over the world. All this gives an even deeper meaning to the event, enhancing Italian motoring also as a strong tourist attractor. Italian Motor Week24 is an example of our strategy for developing the tourist offer on the international scene. Anci Città dei Motori will contribute significantly to the digital hub of tourism italia.it with its national calendar, consolidating the image of Italy as a privileged destination for lovers of motor tourism”.
“Italy and motors are practically synonymous – underlines the president of ACI, Angelo Sticchi Damiani – and both are, in turn, synonymous with excellence. An excellence that the whole world recognizes, admires and envies. Celebrating this extraordinary fusion of great intuitions, engineering, design, technologies, experiences, power, style, elegance and charm, with an entire week dedicated to the Italian “Motor World”, means not only telling a great story that deserves to be remembered how many – many – already know it and revealed to those – few, in truth – who do not yet know it, but it means, above all, contributing to spreading the seeds of this heritage of vision, tradition and culture, to ensure that the future of ” Motor World” lives up to its extraordinary past”.
