Encouraging enquiries in the property market and heavy rush of customers at automobile showrooms was witnessed as Hindu New Year started on Tuesday.

Property sales already ruling high in Indore are all set to get a fillip during the nine day Navratri, said realtors.

Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association (CREDAI), Indore chairman Gopal Goyal said, “Sentiments are high in the property market and the trend is likely to remain firm in the near term. There is a jump in demand for plots and premium flats in the city. The rise in demand has prompted many developers to roll out new projects in Indore in the new fiscal.”

Developers said, MR 10, MR 11, bypass and super corridor among areas have fetched encouraging demand from customers.

Decked up automobile showrooms of the city saw heavy rush of customers on the occasion to buy vehicles with most showrooms sold more than daily average sales.

Aditya Kasliwal, an automobile dealer said, “There was a lot of rush of customers since early morning. We sold around 200 cars from our showroom which is much higher than our average daily sales.”
