Just under four years since opening the showroom, Luscombe MG Leeds has sold its 5000th new MG vehicle.
The showroom opened in June 2020, following a two-month delay caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the first nationwide lockdown. Since then, it has held a launch event for the MG3 Hybrid+ and hosted the flagship MG Cyberster.
Sam Luscombe, sales director at Luscombe MG Leeds, said: “Selling that many new cars in a relatively short space of time is a huge achievement and a real testament to both a great team and a desirable product.
“It would be a significant moment for any dealership, but to reach 5,000 new units despite having to contend with setbacks including several coronavirus lockdowns in the first two years of trading, is something we can be proud of.
“I would like to thank everyone who has been involved in reaching this milestone, including both staff and customers, and I’m looking forward to celebrating the next 5,000 and beyond!”
Luscombe’s Leeds is also a Suzuki dealer, as well as a Mitsubishi dealer.
